Hi, memories are currently a beta feature and requires privacy setting disabled, so any issues can be debugged.

Thanks!! I even did a perplexity search, maybe add a hover state in app or additional information to let users know in context 
Hey, isn’t this enough for you? Although I think not everyone reads it, maybe it should be highlighted in a different color.
oh wow, honestly I didn’t see that! I’m wondering if the rule is privacy = on then memories = disabled the message could be a lot clearer, more like a CTA.
For example if it said “You need to turn off privacy mode to generate memories” and was linked to the General tab I would have gotten it. But also yes, I always just assume users don’t read anything
