The new slack feature (which is dope as all hell, I’ve been hacking my way into the same with screenclick macros lol), requires I turn off privacy mode to use, but I can not see the settings toggle.
Steps to Reproduce
Already be private before update when there was still a toggle
Want to use slack feature
go to settings
???
Post bug report -thumbs up emoji-
Expected Behavior
There should be a toggle to return the user to normal privacy mode.
Can we get a CLI maybe? So i can do stuff like this.
mosquitto_sub -h %awsip% -p %awsport% -v -t “madnessinteractive/agents/cursor/#” | xargs -o -r -I {} cursor-cli --agent unhinged --prompt {}
Ive also noticed the “contact me” link (again in web settings) to your email address is simply a link to open chrome, and does not draft an email like normal. Thanks!
May have to do with my default browser not being chrome? I get this message every time I try, the next attempt doesn’t save the “always”. It could just be me, I’m a tester I can’t help it
I’m also using different browser as default (testing too), however as I dont use browser based email I have not noticed this behavior on regular mailto links
I just tried the slack thing again after changing the setting on my desktop, It says Im off privacy in the app, but the website hasn’t syned to it. Maybe I have legacy database value or something that needs clearing?
Hmm sorry about that, I did pass it to Cursor Team but with many questions and requests it may take a bit time. @danperks
If you could, please try to log out of Cursor app and website, then login again and if the setting doesnt follow, then set it again.
(Sometimes login/logout helps with such inconsistencies)
