It has

What’s that fusion tab do? Can you elaborate please

Better tabtab

I notice with the new project rules .cursor/rules you can create a file.mdc rules file by adding a rule from the settings panel. It seems to be standard markdown but with the added description and globs input fields.

I have my own folder with project rules and such in it. I started out by taking some of the relevant project rules and symlinking them to the .cursor/rules folder.

Will the agent ignore standard .md and .ts files stored in the .cursor/rules folder if they are not inputted via the settings panel and in the .mdc file format? Will it read any file in that folder or only ones submitted using the settings add rule file interface?

Please Plan/Act mode please :slight_smile:

You can do it by telling the ai to not apply code changes without your confirmation

Wouldn’t it be better to be like in the cline instead of saying it all the time?

I experienced a really nasty bug after updating to 0.45.6. A curor background process started pushing garbage data into the macOS window session. Any application was unable to function as text or menu selection was interrupted. Attempting to shutdown through terminal or by menu didn’t work. I had to hard reset. I haven’t tried cursor again after restarting macOS. Wish me luck.

Very good implementing MCP server i was actually going to put out a feature request . Yet to test it but this really tells me you are continuously working hard and focused on a great developer experience. Well done :call_me_hand:t6:. Anyone that hasn’t looked into MCP servers you want to do this now it enhances the experience. Building your own MCP server is easy too. Just had a look and one slight request would be to allow full config files that follow the mcp server config format ie “mcpServers”: { …} as an option. simply because i have a bunch of mcp servers i use on vscode , claude desktop. I usually just paste the entire config between any client and tools are discovered on all of them so its portable.Good work guys.

MCP is really great. I was finally able to give cursor access to the private github repos and setup shared memory with pinecone. The only issue I have is that in every new cursor window MCP servers are not connected automatically and I have to go to settings to reset them every time.

File config support would be really nice. Also to have a yolo mode for tools, so I can whitelist tools that can run without confirmation

@deanrie any plans regarding this?

Bro, do I need to paid pro for using the Mcp? Because it’s not working on mine like all of the possibilites I tried is not working and then the other users are some of the mcp servers are working and some are not

You don’t need to pay to use mcp servers. However, its currently buggy so stability could depend on the mcp server you are running. i have just added a server i know works on other mcp servers. when i add to cursor, it correctly detects including the tools but then disappears in about 10 secs from mcp servers screen .
