Describe the Bug
I’ve been using Claude 3.7 Sonnet, and I’m consistently encountering an issue where it responds with when it’s supposedly executing a task or responding to me. It seems to have an internal understanding of what it’s doing, as the task often progresses, but the actual output shown to me is just . This is quite unhelpful as it completely obscures what the model is working on or thinking about, leaving me in the dark.
Steps to Reproduce
- Configure Cursor to use Claude 3.7 Sonnet as the underlying model.
- Engage the agent in a task or conversation that requires it to process information and provide a response, especially those involving tool use or complex reasoning.
- Observe the agent’s output. Frequently, instead of a descriptive message, the response will appear as , despite the agent seemingly continuing to process or execute the task in the background.
