im an experienced user, just fired things up to use composer and it just wont make a file or update a file. tried project view and composure view. Just wont work. I have not changed any settings and for sure I have a ton of hours of previous use so I am not sure what is wrong or if its a services issue on the Cursor side but I cant use it at the moment.
an interesting note, it keeps giving me code with Eof to make the actual code updates in shell, which is odd I have not seen that behavior before.
Same here on 0.40.4, Windows.
Other related topics here say the previous version worked correctly (creating new files) and behavior has changed in 0.40.
