Please check:
- Disable HTTP/2: Settings
CMD+,→ search “HTTP” → enable “Disable HTTP/2” → restart Cursor → test in a new chat. Confirmed fix: Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN - Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics → send a screenshot.
- Launch without extensions: in the terminal run
cursor --disable-extensions→ test a new chat. - If you use a proxy or have traffic filtering on your router or a software firewall, temporarily disable it and try another network.
If the error persists, please send:
- 2-3 new Request IDs from the failed attempts,
- your macOS version and a screenshot of the error,
- logs from Help → Toggle Developer Tools → Console,
- the result of Network → Run Diagnostics.
Also let me know if disabling HTTP/2 helped.
