Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, thanks for the report.

This is a known connection issue. Please try these steps in order:

  1. Disable HTTP/2 (most common fix):
  • Open Cursor Settings Ctrl+,
  • Search for “HTTP/2”
  • Enable “Disable HTTP/2”
  • Restart Cursor
  1. Check MCP servers (if you have any configured):
  • Cursor has an 80-tool limit
  • Disable MCP servers you’re not actively using
  1. Check firewall/antivirus:
  • Windows may need to re-allow internet access for the updated app version
  1. Run network diagnostics:
  • Cursor Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics

Most users resolve this with step 1. Let me know if that helps.

Try accessing a new chat; the error will no longer occur.

That doesn’t solve for me. It has issues with connection in new chat too. Until today it works nice, and internet connection works well.

Didn’t help for me. Seems there is some outage as network diagnostics shows “[unknown] Network disconnected“
