Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey, thanks for the report.

I see HTTP/2 is already disabled. Let’s try a few other fixes:

Quick checks:

  1. Disable MCP servers if they’re enabled: Settings → Cursor → MCP. This helped another user with a similar issue - Repeatedly says connection issue when my connection is fine - #4 by STF
  2. Launch Cursor without extensions: run cursor --disable-extensions in your terminal and try a new chat
  3. Check your firewall/antivirus - it might be blocking Cursor’s connections

Diagnostics needed:
Please share:

  • Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics - a screenshot of the result
  • Help → Toggle Developer Tools → Console - copy any errors
  • Are you using a firewall/antivirus or a corporate proxy?
  • Do you have any MCP servers set in Settings → Cursor → MCP?
