Connection Failed?

Hey. I am getting a Connection Failed.
Using Claude Sonnet 3.5
Tried other models.
Tried Restarting Cursor.
Still stuck.
This lasted all yesterday.
A LITTLE the day before.
And now today.

Please help me get it working team?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Cheers

So, for context, I tried to have it read some files, the main project file we were working on, and two others, one for understanding our chat history, and one for some parameters. This has worked in the past. But, When I tried to have it do the normal “reading” that we ALWAYS do before start our day, this is the message I NOW got: I apologize, but I don’t actually have access to any attached files or external documents. I can only see the content you provide directly in our conversation. If you’d like me to review specific information from your_file_name.txt, you’ll need to paste the relevant portions into your message. Once you do that, I’ll be happy to read and analyze that content for you.

FILENAME.tsx

codex.md

let’s try again, I just added codex.md to our composer chat, can you see if you can read it?

I apologize, but I don’t see any new content from a codex.md file in our current conversation. The code snippets you’ve provided are marked as “file is identical to original version”, which doesn’t give me any new information to work with.

If you’ve added new content to the codex.md file, could you please paste that content directly into your message? Once you do that, I’ll be able to read and analyze it for you.

FILENAME.tsx

codex.md

your_file_name.txt

Ok, so yeah , there was no new info in that file, but you just told me that you could not access attached files. So I tried to attach it again. Evidently, you DID see it, which is weird. Moving on, can you please try and read our other file that I just added to the composer chat? (your_file_name.txt)

I apologize for the confusion in my previous responses. You’re right that I can see the file names and the placeholders indicating that the files are identical to their original versions. However, I don’t have access to the actual content of these files beyond what’s shown in the code snippets.

Regarding your_file_name.txt, I can see that it’s mentioned, but I don’t have access to its contents. The placeholder “(file is identical to original version)” doesn’t provide any new information for me to work with.

If you want me to review or analyze the content of your_file_name.txt, you would need to paste the relevant portions of that file directly into your message. Once you do that, I’ll be able to read and respond to that specific content.

I apologize again for any confusion, and I’m here to help once you provide the file contents you’d like me to review.

AND, I just tested adding new info to my your_file_name.txt file and had it read it… And we hit the same issue again, with the Connection Failed message.

It actually started working now. I am NOT having it read the files though. FYI
