Cursor auto shuts down on sleep mode

My Mac goes to sleep and when I wake it up, Cursor has fully shut down and I have to reopen it.

Steps to Reproduce

Let your mac go to sleep.

Expected Behavior

Not shutdown

Hey, thanks for the report. Cursor shouldn’t close when your Mac goes to sleep - that’s not expected behavior.

Please help us gather more info:

1. Does this happen every time or only sometimes?
2. Check crash logs: open Console.app → Crash Reports → look for Cursor entries around the time the issue occurs
3. Do you have any extensions installed in Cursor?

Please share the results - it will help us figure out if this is a system issue or something specific to Cursor.
