Describe the Bug

I just decided to start using cursor; However, I am hit with a “Hmm… can’t reach this page” when I try to access cursor.com from a Nigerian IP (see screenshot below). Using a vpn loaded the page successfully, but during sign-up I see a sign-up restricted error when I am prompted to enter password or with email code.

Is cursor available for Nigerians?

Hey, it seems these are limitations of your provider, we previously received complaints about unreachable access from Nigeria, try using a VPN.

So I see you have a Gmail address. Could you let me know which VPN you use? Do you have the option to try another one?

Cursor Accounts in Nigeria

I used NordVPN and it works. Try it

I used windscribe vpn.

I switched my network provider and the cursor.com page did load without a vpn, but I still see the sign-up error.

Do I still need to try Nord VPN?

Could you also try signing in using the “Sign in with Google” button?

Continue with Google just worked. I could have sworn I had tried that before.
