Cursor IDE Not Working - Pro Plan

Hi,

I’ve been trying to code for the past few hours, but as you can see in the attached picture, Cursor IDE isn’t working properly. I’m on the Pro plan, and it’s not functioning as expected. Could someone assist me with this issue?
Will these requests be counted towards Cursor usage?

Thanks in advance!

Update:

Yeah, they count broken requests even
again with Claude 3.5 sonnet

Update 2:
The sad part is that not only did no one from their team bother to say anything, but not a single person showed up to help—meanwhile, we chose this tool and are actually paying for it!

Same here. The AI chat window is just stuck on generating, then times out. Over and over again. Have reinstalled, restarted composer, etc. No change. Am running 0.47.8

reverting to 0.46.11 doesn’t fix. sad. though switching from agent to ask mode worked immediately

Same here - my Cursor IDE acts as it overflow my machine and need ressources, but when I look into the ressources used Cursor plus sub processes only takes up a little RAM and not a full CPU core. It looks like Electron memory bleed.

I updated to the latest version today. Maybe the issue I posted about is fixed, but I had this same problem a day or two ago. It would fix itself after an hour or two.

But today’s update feels like it’s consuming a lot more resources. It’s heavier too.

And just to be clear, I’m not even talking about the financial side of things. But Cursor counts every single fast request—never gives you an extra one :)) And even on these broken, incomplete requests, it’s still keeping track.

They’re not fixing the bugs. They’re turning Cursor into the bug itself.
