Cursor Pro – Infinite Generation Bug

Hello Cursor support team,

I’m a Pro account user. Cursor is stuck in an infinite generation state. Creating a new chat does not resolve the issue. VPN is off.

What I’ve tried so far:

– Fully deleted ~/Library/Application Support/Cursor

– Deleted ~/Library/Caches/sh.cursor.*

– Reinstalled Cursor

– Launched from terminal: no errors shown

– Used latest version (0.47.8)

Mac info:

OS: macOS 12.8.374.38-electron.0

Cursor version: 0.47.8 (universal)

Request ID:43306cb6-8616-49ea-b93c-0ae7f39b95d8

I rely on Cursor for daily work and would appreciate urgent assistance.

Update

Request to llm-models in my cursor, going from server which connected with my laptop via SSH. With local Jupyter-notebooks cursor working without problems at this moment.

Please Cath up.

Hey, is everything okay with your network? Was everything working properly before, or did you encounter this problem from the start?

everything Is ok, no issues with other servies

I had a similar issue once when I had it merging two files. It was repeating several lines in a yaml file in an infinite loop. I solved it by merely stopping it and telling it that it was in an infinite loop, and it figured out what it was doing wrong and re-did it correctly.

I tried to stop him by words and rules and it was not success

Dear cursor team, i pay money for you, but can’t work with your product right now.
Could you help me urgent?

Hi Cursor Team,

I’ve been unable to use your app for several days — it’s completely frozen and unresponsive. I’m reaching out again because I haven’t received any meaningful support, and I’m growing frustrated.

It feels like the team is more focused on football or engaging on Twitter than responding to paying users on forums. I want to remind you that I’m a paying customer, not just a free user.

From the outside, it seems like you may treat your VCs as your primary “customers.” But that’s a mistake. Your real customers are the people who pay you for your product — people like me, who depend on Cursor for work.

Please take this seriously and resolve my issue as soon as possible. I cannot continue working like this. Also, please stop sending generic replies — I need real help, and I need it now.

Once again: I am your customer, not your VC.

Looking forward to your immediate response.

How much time I should waiting support in my case?
