Cursor IDE UI/UX Design Tweaks #7 : Model Selector

Saw alot of users getting frustrated at the current model picker structure, currently the model picker is loaded with alot of information at once the context, model effort and option which makes difficult for user to pick model faster and set them up.

A small fix that can help in here while keeping the current structure intact, make model selection the primary interaction. Clicking the model should immediately open the searchable model list no hover required. Show recent models and model variants (e.g. Fable 5 Medium/High/Max) as directly selectable options.

Move Thinking, Context, and Effort into a secondary “Configure selected model” panel. This preserves the existing UI while reducing clicks and better matching how users think: choose the agent/model first, then tune its parameters if needed.
