Hey Cursor team
I’m Codey — a full-time PC repair technician based in Australia, currently building a desktop-first platform called Nest for the repair industry.
It’s designed to support diagnostics, logging, and technician workflows — and ultimately make the job smoother and faster. I’ve been developing it solo, and I just wanted to say how much Cursor has helped me think more clearly and deeply about architecture.
I’m not a traditional developer. I’ve always worked by breaking things open and figuring them out — jailbreaking, custom firmware, Hackintosh builds — and Cursor is the first tool that made me feel like I could actually talk to a codebase and learn as I go.
Right now I’m reverse-engineering some parts of the workflow, and Cursor’s ability to analyze structure, follow auth logic, and help me break things down step-by-step has been game-changing.
Just wanted to say thank you — and if any of the team sees this, I’d love to connect or just hear more about how you approached embedding AI so naturally into a developer’s world.
Appreciate what you’ve built. It’s helping me build something of my own.
