Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

For the last two days, Cursor is stuck. When I go into the ask mode and type questions, nothing happens. I tried running network diagnostics, which passed. However, it is failing in the most recent test. The network is healthy and I am using Claude code in another window (with VScode), and it is working fine. I wonder if there is anything else going on the Cursor side.

When this happens, it affects new chats as well.

I’m seeing the same behavior: the instance freezes and becomes unusable. Killing all processes only sometimes helps, and when it doesn’t, everything remains stuck — plugins, new chats, the whole UI. This started recently; Cursor had worked fine for about a month beforehand.

Do you have any MCP servers connected? Please check the DevTools panel for any errors.
