Completely unusable.
Same issue i have been facing for last 10 hours now, 08.15 am (Indian standard time) to be exact.
Apart from this connection failure issue, I am seeing another error as well:

Same problem here! I’ve tried restarting, clearing the cache, selecting a specific agent but it just keeps thinking and with the status “Generating…”.

Im having similar issue the Agent is not responding to anything after the update. I choose a model to reset still nothing. Close the app out and uninstalled still the same.
Looking at “Generating…” for quite some time… is this Trump or Obamas fault?

Same issue here.
I have the same issue stuck at “Generating” or either calling MCP with response but not proceed with the next step. I’m on version 0.49.6 (See more info below)

Same here! It’s taking an absolute eternity to use tools / generate any sort of response. 25 minutes so far and it’s almost done. Anthropics/openai/cursor status pages are all green too.

I’ve been having the same issue for about two hours now. It’s basically unusable. Any task I try to do just gets stuck, even if I open new chats. Same thing happens, no matter which model I use.

Anyone have success downgrading to a prior version?
All of my chats are completely gone from downgrading. I am absolutely living. I am switching to a different IDE. This is the nail in the coffin. I’m simply done.
Any update on this? Why are devs non responsive, nobody is attending to the issues, i tried usage based pricing as well, money is getting deducted and still there is no output. This is seriously messed up.
