what users truly appreciated in the earlier Cursor Pro model was its clarity, consistency, and value:
We had 500 fast requests (Claude 3.5/3.7 or others),
After that, slow requests were still available, which meant we could rely on Cursor throughout the entire month,
That setup kept users happy, productive, and subscribed without frustration.
With the current system, the biggest issue is that the limit hits within just 5–6 days, even with only moderate usage — especially when using Claude 4 for standard tasks. That’s frustrating as a user who expects a monthly subscription to last a month.
Even some cancelled or incomplete requests are counted, which adds to the disappointment.
I understand things evolve, but I sincerely hope Cursor considers restoring a user-first model where we at least get reliable usage throughout the month — even if it means slower fallback access, like before.
