Cursor Pro : Your message is too long. Please try again with a shorter message and fewer/smaller attached items

Hello,
I have subscribed to the Pro Version. I am not of out credits, yet I have this message which pops in : “Your message is too long. Please try again with a shorter message and fewer/smaller attached items.”

Whatever the lenght of the message or if it’s a new chat or not.

Can someone please help me ?

Create a temp directory, paste whatever you’re using that’s too long into a text file and tells Cursor to look at the temp folder and analyze the file in the temp folder. It will read the file and report back to you. This is what I’ve been doing and it works very well for me.
