@Cursor slack handle doesn't work when message is sent by a bot

Describe the Bug

When I tag the @Cursor bot with a regular message sent from the slack app, it works.
When I tag the @Cursor bot with a message sent on my behalf from a slack application, it doesn’t work.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Create a new slack OAuth application with message read scope
  • Authenticate with your slack profile
  • Call the slack api to send the message using the OAuth authentication token by tagging the Cursor Bot
  • Nothing happens

Expected Behavior

That the bot reacts the message and starts the background
