everytime i command the cursor to make some changes into my basecode it’s often stuck on the applying, even before starting anything it’s always stuck, i need to press stop and re-request the chat, and sometimes i even need to do that a few times before the cursor give the action i wants, it’s getting worse day by day, it’s not like this when iam using old cursor in 2024.
for your information, iam using cursor 1.7.39 on windows 10.
my basecode is laravel.
my account is pro.
iam doing that in agent with auto, the models i enabled is only claude 3.7 sonnet, claude 4.0 sonnet, claude 4.5 sonnet.
Steps to Reproduce
just tell the cursor to do anything, it will often get stuck

i want it to do the task i asked, not stuck more than hours doing nothing

after updating into 1.7.44 today, i can’t even open the old chat history, it’s stuck in the Loading Chat.
after i opening new chat and doing my job, i haven’t meet any problem yet

for my fellow cursor users, if you’re still experiencing this, then i suggest you can try to use cloudflare warp or dns, maybe the network provider is the problem, this whole i week i never getting stuck anymore but yesterday suddenlly i got stuck again, and when i check the network diagnostics, the result is some of them are error or disconnected, then i trying to use cloudflare warp and its normal again.
I have the same problem, it worked fine all month, but the last 3 days it’s impossible to work, it loads endlessly without an error.
I am getting this too. Can’t reliably replicate it but it will sometimes make the changes and just sit at “planning next steps” for like a couple minutes. The request was very simple and it completed the changes.
after i use dns cloudflare i’ve never face this problem anymore, u can try it too
