Cursor Tab not working "Requires pro (custom model)"

I would like to try Cursor Tab to compare with Github copilot, which I’ve been using before. I’ve tried turning it off and on, restarting the app, disabling the Copilot extension, everything I can think of.

I also disabled my anthropic key in case that was causing issues. Overall, I’m at a complete loss as to how to test Cursor Tab!

It just shows this and doesn’t function despite everything being turned on:

I’ve noticed a few topics with similar issues that are unresolved:

• Copilot++ not working - Requires pro (even though I haven't used any of the 2k free credits)
• Cursor tab does not work

Hey @darknoon,

Do you have a PRO subscription? Cursor tab only works with a subscription, as it is their custom model.

Ah, ok. It wasn’t clear on the webpage… it looked like I would be able to use a certain amount for free.
I have subscribed and it works so far, just wasted a couple hours trying to figure itout.
