Have been a Cursor Pro user for a few months now with no issue, but now setting up on a Mac behind a corporate proxy (ZScaler, HTTPv2 disabled) I notice that Tab is not completing anything. The logs show that the provider was created, but no further output. Hovering over the Cursor Tab text at the bottom, it’s prompting me for a pro upgrade, and my Account in Cursor Settings says “Upgrade to Pro” even though I already am. Chat, Composer, and Cmd-K work fine with premium models. Any fix? Have already tried reinstall and logging out and back in.
Hi @vk14
Maybe you’re signing into the wrong account?
Only have one account as far as I can tell. When I sign in using it, I see “Pro” in Settings | Cursor - The AI-first Code Editor.
Update: I now see “Pro” next to my account in Cursor settings, but Cursor Tab still hovers as “Requires Pro, upgrade here”.
This is definitely the issue. After even longer, I see repeated “GET https://api2.cursor.sh/auth/full_stripe_profile workbench.desktop.main.js:2349 net:: ERR_TIMED_OUT” messages. When I go to https://api2.cursor.sh in my browser, it it not blocked.
Edit: Someone else with the exact same issue: Why isn't Cursor's Autocomplete Working? - #3 by amitd
Try pinging the URLs in the terminal by typing ping api2.cursor.sh
and ping api3.cursor.sh
. If that doesn’t work, try reinstalling. The links are below:
Same here, using a pro account and the cursor tab is not working. tried restarting and reloading. I am using no VPNs
have you tried to re-login from the cursor apps?
This is also suddenly not working for me on a pro account as well. Re-logging did not fix it.
Upgrading to the most recent cursor version fixed it.
I have relogged and reinstalled multiple times to no avail. I can ping both APIs fine.

Bumping this, hoping for a solution still.
I solved it through the phrase in the image.
It was resolved after I checked Disable in the check box and closed and turned on the app when I grew up
@vk14 Did you ever get this resolved? I am having the same issue as well. Tried uninstalling, Logging in/out and even disabled HTTP2 but NOTHING works. None of the admins on this forum get back to you on anything either. Might cancel my subscription since they haven’t figured out how to work around getting a working version through a proxy.
If you have an antivirus, try adding an exception for it. This has helped users who tried everything else and still had issues.
Nope. Have tried everything I can think of with no luck. Even emailed them as others suggested with no response for a month. Guess it’s just not a priority.
Have you tried login-in?
Same issue. Any updates. At-least can someone direct me to how to get my money back?
No updates. Really disappointing.
