Cursor uninstalled itself after update

Can not launch the windows application. Shortcut is dead, and all program files seem to be missing.

This is the second time that this has happened. I think last time it just started working again, but this time it has been inoperable for over an hour. What is the fix?

Hey, we haven’t figured out why this is happening yet, but we suspect it might be caused by antivirus software or a system defender.

Same issue here… Cursor was just gone all by itself this morning. Checked the directory and the exe was missing.

I do not use anti-virus or windows defender (disabled)

I’m not sure which version it *was, but I had to re-install it. Once re-installed, it already needed an update, which is versions:
