Cursor web agents seems broken

Describe the Bug

On Chrome or Edge web browser (on Windows), I keep getting “Agents populating…” but nothing ever happens. It is just stuck there. Looking at the web console, you can see (cf screenshot) an Server Error 500

Steps to Reproduce

Not sure tbh. I had tried launching a task and then… the bug happened. I cannot even see the task I launched anymore.

Expected Behavior

Seeing the agents I have and their respective tasks?

Tried incognito / different browsers. When I try on mobile I get a modal “Failed to create agents”

Could anyone share a request ID (starting with bcId-) or look at the browser network requests tab for when you click start (should be startBackgroundComposer...) and tell me what you see? I’m looking into it but can’t find issue yet

The original bug, failed to load admin settings, we are fixing. But agents starting I need more info!

I get Failed to create agents. instead, but also a 500 status error for the request:
