I am not able to see custom models that I added under models list in settings. Although they are visible in chat, under model selection.
Also, I cannot see an option to delete my custom added models.
Steps to Reproduce
Click on Settings → Models → Add a Custom Model

Does this stop you from using Cursor
No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report!
We need a bit more info to figure this out:
Developer: Reload Window
Full restart of Cursor
This seems like an old issue where models in the picker were cached and wouldn’t reset, so you’d have to edit the DB file.
@deanrie I am using Anthropic API key.
I have tried quitting and starting again.
Did “Developer: Reload Window” and even reinstalled it. Nothing seems to be working

I just checked and I have the same problem. I think these models are loaded from Anthropic’s API key, but they’re not in the model list on the models page. I’ll pass this to the developers, thanks.
@deanrie can you please look into my other issue as well?

Keep getting error “Model claude-opus-4-5-20251101 is not a reasoning effort model”
I added custom model “claude-opus-4-5-20251101”
Steps to Reproduce
Go to Settings → Models → Add custom model “claude-opus-4-5-20251101”
Enable Anthropic API Key
In chat, try to use that model.

Simple steps, just add custom models.
They are not visible in settings, but they still appear in the chat window.
Additionally, it is no longer possible to delete any custom model in the settings.
Could you clarify exactly what needs to be edited in the DB file?
