Does grok 4.6 count towards API usage pool rather than in house model usage

I see the API usage label while using cursor grok 4.6, is this counted towards the API usage pool rather than the model pool with cursor in house models?

Hey @Dark_Knight, short answer: no. Cursor Grok 4.6 uses the same included pool as the in-house models the Cursor Models pool shared with Composer and Auto, not the Other Models / API pool, as long as there’s still balance left in Cursor Models.

The included API usage label you see in the editor is just a display issue for Grok 4.6. Billing is calculated correctly, it’s just showing the wrong label in the usage bar.

You can verify this on the Usage page at cursor.com. Your Grok 4.6 requests will show up under Cursor Models. If you see anything that doesn’t add up there, let me know.

Thank you so much for your reply, I updated the app it looks good now.
