I am getting this error as well, no VPN, email ends with hotmail.com. When I auth through github I get a new error stating:

Agent and Edit rely on custom models that cannot be billed to an API key. Please use a Pro or Business subscription and/or disable API keys. Ask should still work.

I am not using any API keys, and ask just hangs and does not work. I also get the Unauthorized msg each time I open cursor and have to log out and back in each time.

I am trying the free trial plan.

@danperks I received the same error.
I do not use any VPN, my email ends with hotmail.com, I have cleaned my browser cache and cookies, and I even tried authenticating through GitHub.

Nothing works.
