How to fix "User is unauthorized"

when i use composer in cursor, it’s return “User is unauthorized”

ive tried logging in and out, no difference

my cursor version: 0.45.11

That request ID seems to be expired - could you try the action again and share a fresh request ID? You can get this by:

  1. Opening command palette (⌘⇧P)
  2. Typing “Report AI Action”
  3. Selecting the Composer action that failed
  4. Copying the new request ID

This will help me look into what’s causing the unauthorized error

My Cursor suddenly popped up this error today: User is unauthorized (Request ID: 89aad552-27a1-4929-a6be-c1e65963be5b). Reinstalling didn’t solve the problem, and I still have unused quota for quick Q&A this month. What should I do?

I have already purchased the Pro version, but I still get the “User is unauthorized” error. I have sent an email to [email protected]. The reply said that everything was fine and asked me to log out and log back in. However, I tried and it still didn’t work. After that, I sent another email but received no reply. This has already wasted a lot of my time.

Hi all, if you have seen this error, it is likely because you are using a temporary domain, or a domain known for accounts that attempt to abuse our platform.

Is the date or time on your test device set to the future?
I was able to resolve the issue by correcting the date on the OS I was using for testing, which had been set ahead.
