Flooding request send by Cursor to repo42.cursor.sh

This is when cursor is sitting idle in the background. roughly 10 request per seconds to repo42.cursor.sh

with 1 KB upload and 52 KB downloads.

Restarting cursor would reduce the speed issue temporarily, but it would pickup again soon after usage

Yeah I’m getting this as well. Very strange stuff.

Telemtry data while sitting idle seems odd…

I checked and they’re definitely harvesting user data as my firewall is catching the app Cursor Helper (Plugin) send requests to https://amplitude.com/ while idle.
