Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known issue in Cursor v2.3, and the team is already working on a fix.

Try these workarounds:

  1. Switch to Editor view, press Cmd + E
  2. Make sure Command Center is enabled:
    • Open settings with Cmd + ,
    • Search for “Command Center”
    • Turn it on
  3. In the Window menu, check that Navigation Controls are enabled, it should be checked

If everything is enabled but the buttons still don’t show up, it’s most likely related to panel layout. The bug happens when the Agent panel is on the right. As a temporary fix, move the Agent panel to the left and the buttons should appear.

Details and discussion here: Cursor 2.3: Command Center no longer appears in the top bar, preventing forward/back navigation buttons (regression from 2.2)

Let me know if this helped.
