French university domain not recognized for student verification

My university email format uses the domain @etud.univ-ubs.fr, which is an official academic domain from a French public university.

Cursor’s student verification shows “Not eligible” because the domain is not .edu, but this is a real university domain used for all academic services here.

I have already contacted support to:

Request manual verification of my student status.

Ask to switch my current paid subscription to the student plan, with a proportional refund for the remaining period.

Could the team please:

Add domains like @etud.univ-ubs.fr to the accepted student domains list, and

Manually activate the student plan on my account in the meantime?

hi @TalT and thank you for your interest in our student program. At this time we are onboarding students with email address containing .edu.

In the future we will expand the student program and will make an announcement once were are ready.
