The model selection looks like:

the latest version 0.20.3

But on vscode with the same account I am able to select models

Hey, Copilot with model selection requires a newer version of VS Code, 1.95.x, while Cursor is still on version 1.93.1.

Yes the copilot version supported by cursor is 0.20 and that by vscode is 0.23.

So safe bet is v0.23 of github copilot has model selection.

But when I manually tried to install that extension version, I got vscode version of cursor is ‘1.93.1’ thus v0.23 of github copilot not allowed!

So no way to solve this?

Not yet, you’ll need to wait until Cursor updates its VS Code version.

I’m also waiting for them to upgrade to use Copilot o1-preview.
