Gpt-5.4-xhigh gone?

No warning and gpt-5.4-xhigh is just gone? I find this experience jarring, even more so with no explanation that I can find anywhere. I’m on the ultra plan.

Hi @Rip_Ryness , it hasn’t been removed. You may need to check under “Add Models” and just make sure it’s enabled there.

Let me know if you don’t see it there, and I can take a closer look.

I’m on the latest version. All my models changed mid session. I restarted but they are still changed

Strange. Okay, I can think of a couple of things to try. Forgive me if they sound basic, but let’s run through them anyway.

  1. Are you on a VPN? Can you toggle it?
  2. Can you switch to an unrelated model family in the picker, send a prompt, and then look for GPT 5.4 xhigh again?
  3. Can you disable privacy mode briefly and send a request or two (on any model), and I can run some checks?

@Rip_Ryness

I tried 2 & 3 and I logged out and logged back in. No effect

I signed out again and signed back in and now they are back. Weird.

I take that back. I think the prompt currently running was on gpt-5.4-xhigh but now all my models are limited again. Help!

Can you share another screenshot of what your available models looks like?

Pretty clearly my ultra account is being limited in the models is has access too. Please fix!

Hi @Rip_Ryness I think you may have the new model picker that looks like this. You just need to hover over the model and press Edit to change the Thinking level. This new model picker is rolling out slowly so I wasn’t sure if you were on it. Personally, I think it’s fantastic because it collapses / groups the models together in a more intuitive way.

But not 100% sure that you’re on it so maybe you can share a screenshot of what yours looks like?
