Grok Bot stuck on “Updating Grok Bot’s Computer”. Been stuck on this window for a while at “Transferring your data” at 43% and cannot get past it, even with restarts. I had this same problem a week ago and a support ticket was the only thing that got it to clear out.
Steps to Reproduce
Problem persists whenever Grok Bot is open.
Expected Behavior
Grok Bot is unusable while “Updating Grok Bot’s Computer” dialog is active.
Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known issue we’re tracking, and it’s not related to your setup. Good news: the Grok Bot computer and everything on it are safe, nothing got wiped, the update just got stuck halfway.
What happens next:
The stuck update usually gives up on its own about an hour after it starts, and Grok Bot returns to your existing computer. Once that happens, fully close Grok Bot and reopen it once.
Please don’t use Reset, that’s what wipes the computer.
Your bots keep running during this. If you have the Grok Bot mobile app, they’ll reply there while the desktop is stuck on this screen.
If the update screen comes back and gets stuck at 43% again, reply here with roughly what time it started, and we’ll take a look.
