Hey @Elizabeth_Rotman, thanks for the report, and sorry for the confusion.
First, the good news. Your Agent Computer is totally fine, and there’s nothing we need to restore or recreate on our side. The bots ran normally all day.
What actually happened is that the included usage that comes with the Grok Bot free trial was fully used up. After that, every message you send, including from newly created bots, gets rejected before the bot can reply. At that point the app should show a clear notice like “trial usage used”, but right now it doesn’t, so it looks like things are stuck or frozen on “sending”. This is a known issue we’re tracking, and I’ve passed it to the team. I don’t have an exact timeline yet.
You can confirm this in Grok Bot: Settings > Usage. You should see “You’ve used all of your trial usage” and options to continue.
Please don’t use Reset, Update, or Recover for this, and you don’t need to reinstall either. Your bots, files, and logins are safe. Sent messages won’t go through until there’s available usage again.
If Settings > Usage shows you still have trial usage left, let me know and I’ll dig deeper.
Hey, quick update on this thread. The fix for the issue where the app would silently get stuck on “sending” after usage ran out is already done. Now, instead of a stuck send, you should see a clear limit notification.
It comes with app updates, so please keep Grok Bot desktop on the latest version. If sending gets stuck again on the latest version with no response and no notification, especially after trial usage runs out, send the app version here and the approximate time when it happened.
