Got 450 uses left and just a week to burn through them!
Is agent use really unlimited, or at least limited the same as I had under old rules? Can I use 65-115 Sonnet 4 120k daily for a week?
Thank you for responding. Honestly after previous shadowbans about o4-mini pricing and what I read on reddit. I didn’t expect much from this forum, to be honest.
I switched to the older pricing, that “opt-out” in settings in advanced section.
And I respond to the tool use pricing changes (from 25 per 1 use to 1 per 1 use) as the reddit comment suggests.
It doesn’t seem to be true. Just after changing to old pricing, I was at 76 (I think I had a bit less yesterday before the new pricing, but I might be misremembering). I had one thread where I hit the 25 tool calls limit (kinda fault of the Cursor, apply was removing a comment I asked Sonnet to add and Sonnet used like 10 tool calls just for that).
And after some work, I ended with 79 (had the calls be priced 1 use per 1 tool call; than would have to be much higher). I think Sonnet 4 is still half a use, but not sure.
Edit: I finish those few days in the old pricing. Not sure if I will be renewing subscription, because I just don’t believe those “Unlimited” offers with “Usage limits applies”, but are nowhere specified in hard numbers, or even rages or averages. I am not in a great spot currently, so don’t want to risk losing money. Maybe try water or chinese competitor (they had I think cheap one month), or wait until the limits are clear.
Edit2: This thread has been shadow banned, later manually shadow ban removed. But the bug report thread about shadow banning this post got shadow banned… My thread on forum is not visible - #9 by Kirai
Yes at the last request pricing for Sonnet 4 was 0.5 for regular and 0.75 for thinking.
Cursor Team did notice that there might be a difference in how requests are counted for those switching back to old plan. They are looking into that as well.
Requests should still be counted as normal on the old plan. Also, I believe if you opt-out, you can continue on the old plan indefinitely - it’s not just for the end of the remainder of the current month!
