Pretty quickly ran out of the messages on my ChatGPT Plus membership, was hoping Cursor would allow me to keep using it with my Pro subscription but it is not.

Do you mean paying to get to tier 5 or API usage in general?
It’s currently possible to use it via Openrouter when using your own API key in Cursor

My Openrouter doesn’t seem to be working with anthropic models. Is there a way to make it around this?
It seems to be a bug in Cursor unfortunately, only using Anthropic API directly seems to be possible for now
is 40 cents per request the cost in the OpenAI API or is this how much Cursor charges? i assume Cursor only charges for the Pro subscription to give you access?
Also is this giving access to the Tier 5 API version or how does this work exactly? i am very new to this so i apologize in advance if the questions seem silly.
This is the cost of a request in Cursor. As for tier 5 OpenAI API, no, you don’t get access to it. You do have the opportunity to use the o1-preview and o1-mini models directly within Cursor.
In the screenshot below, the models included in the PRO subscription are shown.

I think everyone was going crazy giving it logic puzzles running out and they didn’t really highlights the limits when launched - so having to wait a whole week before using it again when its just launched wouldn’t be very nice. so I think it it just a gesture of goodwill.
