Having Persistent “Buffered by Proxy” Issues in Network Diagnostics

Hi Cursor community :waving_hand:

I’ve been facing some frustrating network issues for the past week and could really use your help.

In my “Network Diagnostics” panel, I see the following

I’ve tried everything suggested by the Cursor support team (switching between HTTP/2 and HTTP/1.1, testing different networks, reinstalling, clearing cache, restarting, etc.), emailed them for over a week, and even they told me to “wait” — yet nothing has changed, and I haven’t heard back.

I’m on an annual subscription plan (bought before the pricing update), and I was super excited about Cursor. But these ongoing connectivity issues have made the experience nearly unusable. If this continues, I’m considering requesting a refund and moving to Copilot.

Has anyone in the community run into the same symptoms? Or have any tips/workarounds (maybe proxy bypasses or network settings adjustments)? I’m open to trying anything at this point.
