I’m not sure how to summarize an AI chat and start a new one?
In the chat you could say
Can you summarize my entire chat so I can start a new chat?
It will then summarize the chat for you. Simply copy the chat and do what ever you want to do.
Hey, you can try referring to your previous chat, this will give the chat the ability to understand your previous context.
Got it. That’s helpful, but in past chats you could just tap a button to automatically start a new chat but with a summary of previous, which was much easier.
I can only say that if you really want it to remember the actions you’ve taken so far in order to continue, then from my experience, the automatic summary or using the reference was really bad.
That button only appears if you have exhausted the chat length of a chat. Which really, shouldn’t happen very often, if ever.
If you need to reference other chats, you can use the @Past Chats as @deanrie shared. You just type @Past Chats
in your prompt whole like that and then you can browse for the chat you want to reference. Much like referencing indexed documentation via @Docs
or the like.
If I feel I need to split off work, then you can always open a second chat tab, then just reference @Active Tabs
. Be careful with that, though, if you have a bunch of tabs open and they are mostly unrelated, this references them all (not sure why you can’t directly reference a specific tab yet…maybe in the future.)
