How to enable Opt Out mode

Describe the Bug

The Opt Out mode button is missing from the Advanced Settings. How can I turn it back on? Please help me.

Steps to Reproduce

Go to Cursor - The AI Code Editor and Advanced Account Settings.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: 1.2.2 (user setup)
VSCode Version: 1.99.3

Seriously guys? Removing the Opt out button? Please tell me this is a bug holy hell.

If opt out is removed and pricing changes, there’s no reason to use cursor anymore. seriously. It said about unlimited requests, but only 10 free call(not a full request. it even counts the error calls) on claude 4 is avaliable on a day. it’s not normal.

Hey, 2 weeks ago, I emailed cursor and they said opt out is not applicable for students.

I am not a student. I have a pro subscription, and until yesterday there was an Opt Out button, where there were 112 limits out of 500. Today I wanted to switch to it, but the button was gone.

But why did they remove this option, if when I paid for the tariff, it was written that 500 requests were included, and you can switch back to this scheme. And in the middle of my period it is interrupted, and the option is removed? This looks strange at least

To be honest, I don’t believe them anymore. I even suspect that I am using not sonnet 4 when I select sonnet 4 :joy:
