How do we close the irritating banner bar to Upgrade? It takes up too much space in the IDE and it’s annoying.

Steps to Reproduce

It’s just there all the time.

Expected Behavior

We should be able to close it.

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a bug on our side. For users with a student subscription, the “Upgrade to Pro” banner shows up incorrectly even though the subscription is active.

I’ve passed this on to the team, your report helps us prioritize it. For now, unfortunately, we can’t hide the banner, but it doesn’t affect Cursor’s functionality. All Pro features should work as expected for you.

I’ll post an update here once we have a fix.
