i use macos (apple silicon) the update is out since 17 december yet i didnt get a prompt to update and the attempt update option does nothing and it is rolled out to all users? ( 0.44 - Update Cursor Prompt - Should I rollback? - #2 by amanrs )

The new version is being rolled out gradually, not to all users, to catch critical errors early on. It may become available to you soon.
