I’m a daily user. I absolutely despise the new workflow for reviewing changes that Cursor made. The ENTIRE reason I use Cursor over other tools WAS the workflow for making changes, reviewing files that changed, and then committing those changes myself. This forced hijack of that process is not okay, and will absolutely lead to me canceling my subscription.
When I click on a file, here, I DO NOT WANT to be taken to the Cursor review window. I want to go DIRECTLY to the file that I clicked on, the way it has ALWAYS been since Cursor began. I understand you’re trying to sell a new feature (Cursor review) but I’m not using Cursor to have AI review the work, I am using it because I review the work myself.
You’re catering to the vibe coders at the cost of real developers DX and I’m not okay with this. At the very least, give me the option to review file by file the way I have always done, and allow other users to opt into full vibe code send it mode with your own review and commit tools. I DO NOT HAVE ANY INTEREST IN THESE TOOLS, and I do NOT appreciate having them jammed down my throat. I spend about $300-350/mo on Cursor and if this becomes the main workflow, I will absolutely leave. Please don’t make me.
