I urgently need help with this issue DNS & SSl loading

Hello team and community,

I urgently need help with this issue as it is completely blocking my work. I have a product that must be delivered to a customer, but due to this unresolved problem, I am unable to proceed. I am a paid user, and it has now been more than 8 days without a working solution.

Over the past week, I have tried extensive troubleshooting, including:

  1. Installing the latest version of Cursor

  2. Disabling HTTP/2

  3. Confirming there is no proxy or VPN in use

  4. Changing DNS to 8.8.8.8

  5. Multiple additional troubleshooting attempts

Despite all of this, the issue still persists.

This delay is now directly impacting my customer delivery and business, which is extremely concerning given that the service is paid. I respectfully request urgent assistance from the Cursor team or anyone in the community who has faced and resolved a similar issue.

If there is a known fix, workaround, or required configuration, please share it as soon as possible. Any immediate guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and support.

Sorry to hear this is blocking your work. Since you’ve already tried the common fixes (HTTP/2 disable, DNS change, no VPN), I need more details to help:

  1. Network diagnostics: Cursor Settings (Ctrl+Shift+J) > Network > Run Diagnostics - share the results
  2. Console errors: Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console - screenshot any red errors when the issue occurs
  3. Cursor version: Help > About > Copy
  4. OS: Windows/Mac/Linux and version
  5. Exact error message: What does it say when it fails? (Connection error, timeout, SSL error?)

Also try running cursor --disable-extensions from the command line to rule out extension conflicts.

This will help pinpoint whether it’s a network/proxy issue, SSL inspection by security software (like Zscaler), or something else.
