Describe the Bug
I’m reaching out to report a bug I experienced on the platform. During a recent session, the AI entered an infinite loop, repeating the exact same message over 600 times across four different attempts.
What makes this even more critical is that the function being analyzed (calcularValorParaUGC) was generated by the AI itself within the same chat — it wasn’t external or unrelated code. Despite that, the AI failed to engage with it meaningfully and got stuck in a loop.
No useful output or code change was made during these attempts. The AI simply kept repeating the same sentence, which led to approximately $3 in charges, without any actual development progress.
This clearly seems to be a system error, and I kindly request a refund for the amount charged due to this issue. However, more importantly, I’d like to understand what’s happening with the platform, as this behavior severely impacts productivity and trust in the tool.
Thank you in advance for your support. I look forward to your feedback regarding both the refund and the underlying problem.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Opened a TypeScript file where a function was being debugged.
2. Prompted the AI to help identify why a value was returning 0.
3. The AI began repeating the same sentence over and over:
“Vou procurar por algum elemento que possa estar renderizando o valor 0…”
4. I attempted the same prompt four different times, and in each session, the AI repeated the exact same message over 600 times, without modifying or analyzing the code meaningfully.
5. The loop never stopped unless manually interrupted, and no changes were applied to the code.
Expected Behavior
The AI should have analyzed the function logic and provided actionable insights, suggestions, or code modifications based on the prompt. It was expected to process the code contextually and avoid repeating the same message without making progress.
