Describe the Bug
A lot of the time, the inline add context popup when you use @ in a prompt, drops “down” (rather than “up”) when the new prompt is at the bottom of the window, and gets cut off at the bottom of the window.
Steps to Reproduce
When adding a secondary prompt to an existing chat, where the new prompt input is at the bottom of the Cursor window, use @ to add inline context references.
Expected Behavior
Popup accounts for the relative position within the Cursor window, and renders with the bottom edge aligned to the top of the current prompt text, rather than the top edge aligned to the bottom of the current prompt text. Popup should then extend UP, not down, to ensure it remains visible within the window.

Additional Information
Note, the issue has to do with the Cursor WINDOW, not the bottom edge of the screen. Even when reducing the size of the cursor window, the popup is still cut off right at the edge of the window (i.e. it is now allowed to render outside of the window.) This doesn’t matter anyway, as I always use cursor full screen, and the issue would still b e a problem if the popup ran beyond the bottom of the screen as well.
Does this stop you from using Cursor
