My name is Gabriel, I am senior system analist in Brazil. The cursor is the best tool to development with IA. I need discover the correct form about installation and update cursor in my Ubuntu 22.04.
I can install and use cursor, but I don’t know like install the .AppImage to use like normal program. I always need use the right click and choose “Run as a program”. It’s possible install and update cursor using apt, snap or other tool?
In updates too I need install the .AppImage file and delete the oldest file to use the newer.
I search and use ChatGPT, Claude and other IA Agents, but I don’t achieve fix this. Can you help me?
1.6 has been released since a week and has a lot of patches already available, however the Downloads | Cursor - The AI Code Editor isn’t up-to-date. (we still have the update prompt raising, but we can’t download newer version)
Do you plan to make the update available for linux users ?
