Installing on Ubuntu/Kubuntu

Can someone explain how to install Cursor in linux, without headache? I just want to have gui option and also terminal “cursor .” option, I tried many things but there is error with sandbox and does not works anything

it’s fucking needs to be easier, it’s so fucking complicated, why the fuck is so hard to make just snap package I have no idea, and it does not working on ubuntu 24 version

–no-sanbox does not fix any shit, you still need to type that every time and you need to keep terminal open

use -c flag would ignore same version.

wget -c -O $APPDIR/cursor.AppImage $APPIMAGE_URL

It works perfectly fine in ubuntu 24.04

And if you are using ubuntu and expecting everything to work with just a snap package then you shouldn’t using them at all

that’s fucking radicilous claim, if zed ai, vscode works, cursor needs to works too! also your script does not working as I asked, I want to just open cursor from terminal, and then use same terminal windows with different purposes, and that does not fucking works
