I’ve been using Cursor successfully for the past two days on my office laptop without any issues. However, starting today, I’m consistently encountering the following error:
Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
- Disabled HTTP/2 by setting
cursor.general.disableHttp2
totrue
- Cleared cache and local data
- Tried logging in with a different email
- Switched networks (Wi-Fi and mobile hotspot)
- Verified my internet connection is working fine
Despite these steps, the issue persists. I’m suspecting that Zscaler or another corporate network policy might be blocking the app, but I’m not entirely sure.
Would appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to resolve this.
